Food and Safety


The quality and integrity of food are the lifeblood of an enterprise. Food production companies must place food safety in an important position and fulfill their social responsibilities. As the responsible party for food safety, food enterprises must earnestly protect consumer health and their own brand, and establish a food safety culture. Ensuring food safety relies not only on government regulation and social supervision but fundamentally on the integrity and self-discipline of enterprises.

Food producers have the responsibility and obligation to fulfill the primary responsibility for food safety. Whether food is safe directly affects the lives and health of hundreds of millions of consumers and directly impacts the physique and future of the Chinese nation. If food enterprises cannot recognize this, then they are not qualified to produce food.

As the responsible party for food safety, food enterprises must earnestly protect consumer health and their own brand, and establish a food safety culture. It is recommended that food enterprises first establish a sound food safety management system and ensure its implementation; additionally, establish independent food safety auditors; and introduce third-party audit mechanisms.

Furthermore, monitoring and publicly disclosing the product production process to the public, and promoting a food safety culture within the enterprise, are very important for avoiding food safety risks.
